We are Jim Morriscey and Elaine Pottier. We retired from the Public Service and bought our retirement home on the ‘Shore’. Then decided to share our place with visitors to the Island, as a means to meet new people and introduce them to the serene beauty and peaceful way of life on Prince Edward Island.
Argyle Shore is situated among farmers and fishermen, in ‘cottage country’.
The people here are passionate and deeply rooted, as most are from multi-generational families.
Our property is located on the Red Sands Shore in the Prince Edward Island Tourism Guide Book.
Jim and I are retired. We recently moved to the Argyle Shore from Charlottetown. We decided we’d like to share our space with guests. Hence, we built an in-law suite in our home and here we are.
We’d love to host guests from other parts of Canada and the world, to share our beautiful Island and culture. We are quiet. We have 8 grandchildren and one on the way. Four of which reside on the Island. Our life is filled with good fortune. We had lovely careers as public servants. We look forward to hosting! Come, Relax and stay awhile!
We have a newly built, self contained, in-law suite/apartment.
We have a spacious yard that guests are welcome to use and enjoy with relaxing areas, such as:
Occasional wildlife (rabbit, fox, bird life)
Lots to do nearby
There’s lots of things to see, do and eat just a few minutes away, before settling in for a nice evening.
